The management will not infringe upon the rights or personal dignity of the residents. No verbal or physical abuse of residents by employees, management, residents, or relatives will be tolerated at any time. When a resident registers a complaint, he or she will not be threatened with discharge or reprisal.
The management assumes no responsibility for the loss or theft of valuables, jewelry, or money belonging to the resident and strongly recommends that arrangement for the safekeeping of such items be made prior to admission of the resident.
Residents are not allowed to keep any medications in their possession except as prescribed by the attending physician. All administration of medications will be by licensed nurses or medication aides and only on written order of the attending physician.
Personnel Smithville Hospital Authority, as the governing body, has appointed a full-time licensed nursing home administrator, Dennis Dolgener, with 25 years of service at the Towers, who is qualified by training and experience and has delegated to him the full authority for the internal operation of the Towers Nursing Home in accordance with established policies.

We also offer wound care, e-stim and ultrasound services.
