Residents are accepted for admission to Towers Nursing Home without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or handicap, and the nursing home permits no distinction in the eligibility for or in the manner of providing any resident services.

The resident has freedom of choice in the selection of a physician, alternate physician, religious activities, source of medication, source of hospital care, ambulance service, dentist, and funeral home. Each resident will be asked upon admission to designate these choices.

Residents are admitted only upon order of a physician. A complete medical evaluation, based on a physical examination by the treating physician is required prior to admission. If the referring physician is not to be the treating physician, it is required that the treating physician examine the resident within forty-eight hours after admission to the nursing home.
