Rates begin at $115.00 per day with Private room rates at $135.00 per day and are due and payable in advance for one month. Rates listed are those in effect at the time of admission of the resident and are subject to change on thirty days written notice.

Medicaid recipients will be charged at the private pay rate, as stated above, until the date of their eligibility determination by the Department of Human Services at which time the amount specified by that agency as "applied income" on the "payment plan" will be charged.

Postmortem
In the event of death of the resident, the nursing home will notify the attending physician (or physician on call), the family or legal guardian, and funeral home immediately.

Refund Policy
Private-pay residents:
Any unearned portion of the monthly rate which has been paid in advance will be refunded to the resident or responsible party within thirty days.

Medicaid recipient residents:
If payment from the state agency indicates a lesser payment, the nursing home will refund the excess within thirty days or will retain the balance and apply to future month's payment with written consent from the resident or responsible party.
